Working Principle 1. Mounted between vibrating components (e.g., engine) and fixed structures (e.g., machine frame) via bolts through the inner bore
2. When the engine/equipment operates, vibration forces compress the cushion’s rubber body
3. The rubber’s elastic properties convert vibrational energy into low-level heat (dissipated into the air), reducing vibration transmission to the frame/cab
4. The steel insert (if fitted) prevents excessive compression and maintains the cushion’s shape under heavy static loads (e.g., engine weight)
Core Functions 1. Vibration Isolation: Reduces engine/equipment vibration transmitted to the machine frame and operator cab – lowers noise levels (cab noise reduced by 5–10 dB) and improves operator comfort
2. Impact Absorption: Absorbs shock loads from rough terrain (e.g., excavator moving over rocks) – protects engine, hydraulic pump, and other sensitive components from damage
3. Load Support: Bears static loads (engine/cab weight) while maintaining flexibility – prevents metal-to-metal contact between mounting components
