• Function

1.During cold start: When the engine water temperature is low, the paraffin inside the thermostat is in a solid state, and the valve closes the passage of the coolant to the radiator. At this time, the coolant only circulates in a small loop inside the engine, which can quickly raise the water temperature to the working temperature, reducing cold start wear and fuel consumption.

2.During high temperature: When the water temperature reaches the set threshold (such as 87°C), the paraffin expands when heated, pushing the valve to open, and the coolant begins to flow through the radiator for a large loop, preventing the engine from deforming components or "boiling over" due to excessive temperature.

3.Optimizing engine performance and economy: Precisely controlling the temperature can improve the fuel combustion efficiency, reduce the formation of carbon deposits under cold vehicle conditions, and at the same time reduce the harmful emissions caused by low-temperature operation. Maintaining a stable temperature can also extend the service life of the engine, avoiding mechanical failures caused by excessive thermal expansion and contraction of metal components.
